Rejoice MCRmy! My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way said he's not counting out possible reunion of the band and fans' hearts can't contain it.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the lead vocalist shared how much the members are enjoying their solo lives but that doesn't mean they will be carrying on without working together in the future. "I wouldn't count (a reunion) out, but at the same time everybody's doing stuff in their lives now that they're really enjoying," he said.
Gerard added that their bond is in a much better place right now. "In some ways I don't really miss it; It had gotten so big it was very unwieldy. It took a toll on my mental life and personal life. The thing I'm happiest right now is everybody's relationships with each other are really strong. That's more important than anything else to me."
It appears that MCR isn't actually living their separate lives with guitarist Ray Toro helping out on Gerard's DC Comics project. They have been recording songs like "Into The Cave We Wander" and "Pogi's Cavern" to accompany a part of the book, Cave Carson has A Cybernatic Eye.
The American singer and writer also revealed he's managing time to start his second solo album. "I'm just about to seriously figure out my schedule in terms of how many weeks I'm writing comics and how many weeks I'm writing music," he explained. "There's a plan to put something out; I don't know when that'll come, but the process is starting."So, don't get your hopes down yet.
