T.O.P's official doctors held a press conference in Korea to give update and clear conflicting reports about the singer's current condition.
According to Koreaboo, T.O.P was assisted by three people into the Ewha University Hospital and was admitted with high vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate) and elevated blood carbon dioxide levels. He was able to respond when subjected to high levels of shock - opening his eyes but not able to fully sustain focus for over ten seconds.
Physicians also revealed that he indeed ingested an uncertain amount of amount of sedatives. He had taken benzodiazepines (common names are Valium and Xanax) which are drugs used to treat anxiety, muscle spasms, sleep disorders, and seizures.
Though he responds to stimulation, the K-pop idol is still unable to breathe properly and will have to stay longer in the Intensive Care Unit to fully recover from the bad coniditon of his blood. Further test results will also be forwarded to mental health experts for examination which they suggested as what he needs the most to normally carry on with his life.
Our prayers are with T.O.P and his family during this hard time.
