Amidst issues raised about their longtime feud in the past couple of weeks, Katy Perry is finally ready to let things go and move forward with her life.
The Katy Perry-Taylor Swift conflict has been going on for some time now. For the most part, they buried their broken friendship deep down under for years until the "Swish Swish" songstress herself decided to unearth it and address the issue during her appearance on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment last month.
Things started to heat up even more after fans of the two artists thought Taylor Swift might have shaded Katy for bringing back her entire music catalog to digital streaming services same time as Katy Perry's album release.
In an interview with Arianna Huffington during her YouTube live stream session, the "Chained to the Rhythm" singer opened up about her bad blood with Taytay.
"I forgive [Taylor], and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it's actually... I think it's time," Perry said.
"There are bigger fish to fry, and there are bigger problems in the world. I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter, and like, I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like, 'Yeah, we can do this.'"
