Former US President Barack Obama made a special visit to Seoul for the 8th Asian Leadership Conference recently.
During his speech, he gave a shoutout to the growing Korean culture overseas - special mentioning K-pop group's SHINee for largely contributing to American youth's desire to grasp the Korean language and the tightening US-South Korea friendly ties.
"You've also become an exporter of popular culture to the rest of the world. Some of our young people in America have even learned to speak some Korean so they can keep up with the band "SHINee"," Barack said. "I understand SHINee has developed a passion for America's In-N-Out Burgers."
SHINee's member Kim Ki-Bum later heard about the news and swore via Instagram to be of global pop culture's service. And yes, they do think those burgers are bomb.
