The first motion poster for the sequel to the iconic 1964 Disney film Mary Poppins that starred Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke charmed the attendees of this year's #D23Expo event held at Anaheim Convention Center in California.
Set in 1930s Depression-era London, Mary Poppins Returns is top-billed by Emily Blunt. The film - which takes place 25 years after the original - features the now grown-up Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane (Emily Mortimer) living in Cherry Tree Lane with Michael's three kids and their housekeeper Ellen (Julie Waters). After the household experienced a personal loss, Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) will once again enter the lives of the Banks family to help them together with the vigorous lamplighter Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda).
