LOOK: BIGBANG's T.O.P Sentenced For Marijuana Use

The final trial for marijuana use case for BIGBANG's T.O.P took place today and an official sentence has been revealed.

The Seoul court stated, “The defendant has acknowledged all of the charges made against him and has been found guilty. Drug-related crimes not only hurt the individual’s health but it can also have major negative effects on society as a whole, so there is no choice but to give a severe punishment.”

Good bye Seoul.

“However, we have taken into consideration that the defendant is sincerely self-reflecting, and that he does not have any previous criminal offenses.”

According to Soompi, T.O.P 'will be 'spending two years in probation, but will have to spend 10 months in prison if he violates the condition of the suspension during those two years.'

According to reports, the Korean star delivered an apology in front of press before attending the hearing. “I have nothing else to say except that I’m sorry.” Asked by reporters how he thought about the court‘s decision after the sentencing, he said, “I accept everything from it. I will take it as a life lesson and will live a new life in the future.”, he stated.

The BIGBANG star was charged with marijuana use along with 21-year-old female trainee singer at his home in Seoul in October last year. He initially denied the charges during a police investigation, but pleaded guilty on the first day of the trial last June 29.
