The music world was truly devastated by untimely death of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington. Touching tributes from different personalities all over the world continued to pour and one of the singer's many friends who remembered him was Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Sharing one of most favorite memories with the frontman on social media, he revealed that it was back when they shared the stage performing Linkin Park's “Bleed It Out” at a benefit show for the Philippines after being hit by super typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda.
He recalled the moment when he played the drums while Chester was rocking out to the song hit back in 2014.
Both Blink-182 and Linkin Park have become close as both bands skyrocketed to fame almost at the same time together producing hit after hit during the 2000s. In fact, they are even set to co-headline large shows called Blinkin Park this July 28 and 30.
But because of the tragic and sudden passing of Chester, Linkin Park even cancelled their upcoming tour to grieve for their beloved late lead singer. “I'll cherish every time we hung out or rocked a stage together. Condolences & prayers to all.”, the famous drummer with a heavy heart further said.
