Hip-hop drama Respeto was the big winner of this year's Cinemalaya 2017 festival! It successfully bagged 7 trophies including Best Film award.
Starring Pinoy rappers Abra and Loonie, the film tells the story of an amateur hiphop artist and veteran poet who write together to heal the wounds of the past.
The Voice Kids alum Noel Comia Jr., meanwhile, won the Best Actor award for his first and official entry, Kiko Boksingero! The young singer-actor plays the role of Kiko who goes through the hardships of life after losing his mother. Fellow star Yayo Aguila, meanwhile, took home the Best Supporting Actress title.
