US Weekly reported earlier that Angelina Jolie has put a pause on her divorce process with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
A source told the magazine that the actress decided "the divorce is off" but don't get your hopes up because Angelina is not trying to win anything back. According to another source, the sudden slow down is for the sake of their children. "There's a pause in the [divorce] process because they both made chidlren the priority, but nothing significant has changed in their relationship," the insider told ET. "Both have demonstrated great civility recently for their kids."
Talking about reconciliation, the source cleared, "There isn't one in the works. These things always take a long time, and right now their main focus is on their family and the kids."
Brad Pitt previously opened up on their split in an interview with GQ Style saying he's more than ready now to raise the kids. "I grew up with a Father-knows-best/war mentality—the father is all-powerful, super strong—instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles. And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven't been great at it," he said.
The former golden couple called it quits last year and cited "irreconcilable differences" as its cause.
