LOOK: TAYLOR SWIFT Breaks ADELE'S VEVO Record

Taylor Swift has beaten Adele’s record for most single-day views on Vevo. In its first week of release, the shade-heavy "Look What You Made Me Do" has broken three records.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, it became the most-viewed video in a 24-hour period on YouTube.

Aside from topping Adele, "Look What You Made Me Do"'s accompanying lyric video had 19 million views in its first 24 hours, toppling previous record held by "Something Just Like This" (The Chainsmokers and Coldplay).

The song also had the most Spotify streams during its first day amounting to almost 8 million times - breaking Ed Sheeran's previous record for "Shape of You."

While Adele video of "Hello" achieved 27.7 million views its first 24 hours, Taylor's vengeful music video got almost 30 million views in 24 hours.

The biggest YouTube debut now belongs to "LWYMMD" as well. "Bad Blood," which hit 17 million views in the first day was Swift's previous biggest debut.

Despite having mixed reviews for the video, Director Joseph simply tweeted:

“Look What You Made Me Do” is Taylor Swift’s first solo track in three years. Her upcoming sixth album, Reputation, will be out on Nov. 10.
