LOOK: THE CHAINSMOKERS Apologize For Comments Made While In China

American DJ duo The Chainsmokers recently issued an apology after facing backlash over comments made by Alex Pall during an interview at the Ultra Music Festival in China!

In a now-deleted video on Twitter, The Chainsmokers posted a snippet of an interview where Alex Pall made an inappropriate comment about China after being asked if he brings his dog with them on tours.

"I try to, but she's really like really ill-behaved ... I mean if she could come anywhere I'd bring her to, well I don't know if I'd bring her to China," he said.

Fans were quick to show how upset they are including supporters of BTS whom they collaborated with on the track "Best Of Me"! While the boys of BTS are South Korean artists, they have established thousands of fans in neighboring Asian countries.

Meanwhile, Alex has issued an apology for the inappropriate remarks that he has made.

"I made a comment in an interview about being hesitant to bring my dog, Cheddar, to China, because I have read reports about dogs being slaughtered in certain provinces," Alex wrote in a statement. "We originally posted a video to share how much we love China and our fans there. We would never intentionally do anything to upset our fans and we apologize if we offended anyone. Anyone who wants to help prevent the slaughter of dogs please visit http://www.stopyulinforever.org."
