Lady Gaga Says Madonna's "Mockery" Makes Her Feel Better About Herself

The feud between Madonna and Lady Gaga is heating up!

The Mother Monster got back at the Queen of Pop at her Auckland, New Zealand show telling the fans: "You could never invalidate the power of 'Born This Way'. I donÆt want to be your f**king queen, I want to be your friend."

Just to add to the indirect tirades, it seemed that Lady Gaga is saying that Madonna's ideals are still stuck in the 80's and that the ideals now and then are very much different: "I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music... things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes 'Born this Way' so relevant for meàWe're socially in a different place and it's OK, we don't have to all slice and hate each other any more."

To answer if she was offended by Madonna's actions, Lady Gaga told the crowd that the Queen's actions are just making her feel better about herself: "It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work."

A few weeks ago, Madonna was caught on tape doing a mash up of her hit, "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way" while rehearsing for her show in Tel Aviv, Israel. According to those who have watched the show, the Queen of Pop ended the medley with "She's Not Me", from her album "Hard Candy", as if telling the crowd that there is no comparison between the two pop stars.

"Born This Way" has been said to sound like Madonna's "Express Yourself". Mother Monster said it was her homage to the Queen but the latter said it was "reductive".

I still love MADONNA despite controversies. I do not think that MADONNA is against BTW. If you take a look of her interview last FEB. , Madonna did not say anything bad about GAGA. She was just responding to the controversies sorrounding those two songs. Come to think of it: IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN "BTW". I am beginning to suspect that it was GAGA fans who are taking in a very wrong way so that is why they want MADONNA to look like it was her fault. Sa mga fans ni GAGA.: isn't it that MA

I don't think there should be even a feud between them, they're both artists. "Born This Way" is supposed to sound like "Express Yourself". That answers all questions. There no more feud. :)
