Pinoy Rock MYX VJ Francis Brew and all Muse fans around the world should be psyched! The British rock trio announced in their website that their song "Survival" is the official song of the London Olympic games.

It will be heard all throughout the games; like when the athletes from each country march inside the stadium, during medal ceremonies, and as background music during television coverages.

The song features the band's signature big rock anthem sound and will be played for the first time on BBC radio.

Here's a preview of the song from YouTube:

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy says he wrote the song "with the Olympics in mind." The group added that the song is "about total conviction and pure determination to win".

Muse has sold 15 million albums worldwide. Their hits include "Supermassive Black Hole", "Starlight" and "Undisclosed Desires" among others. They are set to release a new album this September.
