ADAM LEVINE turns violent?
The Maroon 5 singer, whose band have just released their new album 'Overexposed', told The Sun that he didn't believe music "scenes" existed anymore and added that he wants to "punch people who only like one type of music in the face."
"Everything is too splintered now," he said. "ThereÆs no scene. At some point thereÆs going to have to be some scene that comes back."
The Payphone singer said, "But I'm of the belief that because our culture has changed so much, people don't find that exclusivity very important any more, which I love because I hate it. People who tell me they only like one kind of music; I want to punch them in the face.
It pisses me off so I'm glad those walls have been broken down."
Levine also said he didn't believe there would ever be another band like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones again because music has lost its honesty and purity, "ThereÆs never going to be another Stones or The Beatles, another Elvis, because they existed in a time when nothing like that existed. You canÆt look for the next Rolling Stones because the next Rolling Stones donÆt exist. I donÆt really think that can exist any more. There was a sort of purity to it that existed back then which I think is for ever lost. ThereÆs no way to get that back. People get very nostalgic but that will never happen again."Are you one of those people who listen to only one type of music? What has happened to the music industry? Comment below!!
