The much-awaited concert for Pinoy 90s alternative rock fans is now just a day away! The Smashing Pumpkins are all set to perform their first ever gig in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum tomorrow night.
Formed in Chicago in 1988, the band released their fist album Gish in 1991, which was followed by the four-time platinum Siamese Dream and nine-time platinum Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness. The group's hits, including "Today", "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", and "Tonight, Tonight", has defined the alternative music era and continue to resonate on modern rock radio, influencing a whole new generation.
Billy Corgan with new recruits Jeff Shroeder, Nicole Fiorentino and Mike Byrne are currently touring the world in support of their newest album "Oceania".
