Jericho Rosales Releases "Korona"

Highly-acclaimed actor-singer Jericho Rosales dedicates his newest solo album, ôKoronaö to his fans and to the real King.

ôThe idea of giving the album the title "Korona" (crown) came from our photographer Xander AngelesÆ shot of a raindrop that bounced back from the ground, which created an image of a crown. For me, it signified something like giving back or bringing all the glory back to Him," narrated Jericho, who wrote all the seven original songs in his nine-track album. ôI share this album to all my followers and I offer it to God. It is His. We named the album ôKoronaö because He is the real King.ö

Released under Star Records, the album features seven all-original alternative OPM songs including ôKasama Ka;ö ôHalaga;ö ôPusong Ligaw,ö which was co-written by Butch Elizalde; ôBumuhos Man ang Ulanö that was produced and arranged by Gabriel Valenciano; ôDahil sa Pag-ibig,ö which was the theme song of JerichoÆs latest drama series of the same title where he co-starred with Piolo Pascual; another version of ôPaboritong Tag-ulanö where he had a duet with OPM singer Julianne; and its carrier single ôPaboritong Tag-Ulan,ö which was written by Jericho and composed by album co-producer and Star Records' audio and content manager Jonathan Manalo.

ôKoronaö also highlights JerichoÆs revival of a Freddie Aguilar hit ôKamusta Ka Aking Mahalö and SugarfreeÆs ôMakita Kang Muli,ö which was the theme song of ABS-CBNÆs 2005 drama epic "Ang Panday" that starred Jericho.

JerichoÆs "Korona" album is now available in all record bars nationwide for only P199. For more information about Jericho's newest solo album, visit Star RecordsÆ Facebook fanpage at or follow @starrecordsph on Twitter.
