Adele is now officially a "Bond Girl"! Well, at least of the music kind. The Grammy Award-winning British singer wrote and sang the theme song for the newest James Bond film entitled "Skyfall". The song will be released on October 5 at 0:07 London time. The date also marks the Bond franchise's 50th year anniversary and is also known as Global James Bond Day.
"I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for 'Skyfall.' There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song," Adele said.
"When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I'll be backcombing my hair when I'm 60, telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day, I'm sure," she added.
