The long wait is over for their fans because after three years, Chicosci is finally releasing a new studio album under MCA Music Inc. this coming October 31! After countless gigs and tours, the rock group is finally ready to let the music world hear their new materials which were written and recorded with their producer from Tower of Doom Studios, Eric Perlas.
With this new album, Chicosci is set to make listeners appreciate their creativity for the music they produce and not just for their name. ôWe hope people like the album because itÆs good music and not because itÆs Chicosci. And if people donÆt like the record, we hope itÆs because they actually listened to it and hated the music or (not like it) because itÆs OPM,ö says vocalist Miggy Chavez.
With 14 tracks, including the first single ôStealing Kisses,ö feel-good song ôRaspberry: Girl,ö and rock ballad ôSleep Station,ö the new album features another creative change in the band. Through it, they want listeners to be free from stereotyping them and their music.
"This Is Not A Chicosci Record", the bandÆs sixth album, will be available on October 31, 7 PM, at the bandÆs album launch at Eastwood Central Plaza. For only P290, fans can already avail of the album and even get a free baller ID. A Chicosci T-Shirt Bundle, which costs P499, will also be available. This bundle includes a Chicosci shirt, the new album, and a free baller ID too.
