Natina Reed, member of late-90s R&B girl group Blaque, was killed in a vehicular accident in Georgia on Friday night, US time. The singer, who also appeared in the hit teen movie "Bring It On" as a cheerleader, was hit by a car on a major roadway just outside Lilburn in Atlanta, a day away from her 33rd birthday.
The driver involved was not charged by authorities, as they are still investigating why the singer was on the site of the accident and whether she was walking alongside the road or trying to cross it.
Fellow Blaque members Brandi Williams and Shameri Fears-De Voe, announced that the group reunited recently and was supposed to record a new album.
DeVoe expressed her sadness on Twitter posting: "My world as I know it has forever changed. Until we meet again, may you find comfort in the arms of an angel. I love you Natina."
Rest in peace, Natina Reed. Feel free to send your condolences to her family and loved ones below.
