American pop rock band Maroon 5 has shown support for Hurricane Sandy victims. They have donated items such as autographed musical instruments and concert tickets to online luxury auction site Charity Buzz
On their official website
, the band posted: "We've put up a couple auctions that you can bid on to benefit the Red Cross to help the clean-up effort from Hurricane Sandy."
Maroon 5 has partnered with non-profit organizations through this auction to raise funds and provide help and relief to the communities along the Atlantic coastline.
Hurricane Sandy affected at least 24 states in the U.S. with New Jersey and New York being the hardest hit. The so-called "Frankenstorm" caused deaths, major floods and power outages. It is said to be the worst storm to hit the nation after Hurricane Katrina, prompting celebrities to aid those in need of relief.
