MYXCLUSIVE: Interview with "Random Girl" ZENDEE ROSE TENEREFE!

Everyone was asking, "Who is this Random Girl?" A video posted on YouTube titled, "Random Karaoke Girl" showed a girl singing the karaoke inside the mall in her casual clothes and red backpack.

Now, "Random Girl" is already known by the people as Zendee Rose Tenerefe, a 21-year old singer who hails from General Santos City.

Zendee started singing when she was 4 years old. According to her, she grew up without her mom who back then was working abroad so her aunts kept on telling her to practice singing so that she can also go abroad and be with her mom. Zendee shares.

Zendee said that it was 'X-Factor Philippines' which brought her here in Manila. She adds. Unfortunately, she didn't make it to the next round after the bootcamp. She said. It came to the point that her mom wanted the both of them to go abroad instead. "Sabi ko, "Mommy 1 month na lang. Pag wala pa rin nangyari sige tara." Zendee told her mom. Luckily, Zendee went to the mall for the first time and sang "And I Am Telling You" also for the first time, and that started the fame of "Random Girl". She said.

People around Zendee kept on telling her to practice singing more because they have a feeling that she has a future in singing. Zendee, at first didn't believe them because all she wanted was to find a job. But her family in General Santos wants Zendee to find a way for her to be recognized.

Buti na lang talaga may nagcomment, "I think she is Zendee Rose." So yun, may nagshare sakin nung video sabi niya, "I think this is you." Kaya ayun kinalat ko na! Dami nang shares!" She said.

Zendee shares that she will never forget the day she graduated from college. According to her, education is the most important thing above all. She adds. She said that she is happy because she graduated first before "Random Girl" surfaced on the internet.

Walang imposible." Zendee said when asked about what she wants to achieve in her young career.

Zendee doesn't want others to compare her to Charice because she said that Charice has already established herself as a world-class singer and Zendee is only starting her career in the industry.

When asked about who she wants to have a collaboration with Zendee answered, "Si KZ! Friends kami. With international artists, if given the chance, she immediately answered, "Beyonce Knowles!"

She also shared the story behind her guesting on Ellen and said, "Twice po ako nacontact ng Ellen Degeneres Show. Second po yung I Will Always Love You. Finally!"

Zendee is currently recording her debut album under Warner Music. She said that she is very happy because it is her dream to have an album.

She is also nominated in the 25th Aliw Awards for Best New Artist. We asked her how she feels about it and said, "Happy po ako kasi kakapasok ko pa lang po sa ganito tapos nominated po ako agad.

Zendee Rose is undeniably on her way to stardom, from a YouTube video, to The Ellen Degeneres Show. We won't be surprised if she makes it to the international scene and represent the country!
