UP DHARMA DOWN Goes "Pop" On New Album!

The OPM scene has missed the band behind the songs "Maybe", "Sana", "Taya" and "Oo".

Finally, Up Dharma Down is out with their third album entitled "Capacities". The 2008 MYX Music Awards Favorite Indie Artist winners launched their 9-track CD recently in a jam-packed One Esplanade venue in Pasay City.

Loyal fans got to listen to the band's fresh new songs and past hits as well. It's been four years since the band's last album. So you could just imagine the anticipation of everyone present that night. The members gamely signed albums and merchandise after performing a solid 2-hour set.

During our MYXPH.COM exclusive interview, vocalist Armi Millare had this to say about the album:

"It's our ode to pop. People kasi sometimes, they have the wrong impression of the band na we don't like pop, but in fact we love pop music. We grew up listening to pop. This is our way of sharing it to our listeners. We hope that the way feel about pop ends up being the same for them when they listen to the record."
