MYX Celebrity VJ YENG CONSTANTINO Talks About Her Latest Album "Metamorphosis"!

This love month's MYX Celebrity VJ Yeng Constantino shares the story behind her new album.

MYXPH.COM recently got the chance to talk to Yeng Constantino about her new album "Metamorphosis."
Yeng shares that she has never been this excited in her entire life. "I'm so happy na mayroon nang mga nakakuha ng kopya. Thank you sa inyong suporta at pagmamahal," she says.
According to Yeng, "Metamorphosis" is really different from her past albums. "First time na i-try ko yung gantong klaseng sound na medyo electronic."
So, what's the story behind the title "Metamorphosis?"
"Sakto yung title na "Metamorphosis" dahil yun ang season ko ngayon. Transformation, change, and siguro maturity. Nag-iba ako as a songwriter. Kapag narinig niyo yung mga kanta makikita niyo na, 'Uy, may pinagdaanan si Yeng noong nakaraang taon'." she shares.
We also asked Yeng kung ano ang favorite track niya from the album. Sabi niya, "Lahat ng kanta ko parang mga anak ko, mahal na mahal ko lahat." But she picked out one song to share the story behind it. "Yung song na 'Messiah', it's a story about a friend. Kapag may nangyayari sa buhay ko na sad, siya yung nagco-comfort sakin. Tapos nung time na siya yung down, parang hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko, gusto ko siya isave from that situation. It's a sad song but at the same time hopeful. Minsan sa pagmamahal kailangan bibitawan mo para matututo silang lumipad."
What led Yeng to this transformation?
"Ayoko maging plateau. Gusto kong gumawa ng something na pati ako maeexcite. Dapat yung excitement nagsisimula sa artist. I'm really happy na ginagawa ko siya with all my heart and all my strength," she says.
"Metamorphosis" is now available at all leading record bars nationwide.
