KARL ROY Remembered Today On First Death Anniversary

One year after his death, Karl Roy's fans commemorate the passing of their idol.

Fans posted their messages of gratitude and praise for the late singer on his Facebook Fan Page.

Karl Roy passed away on March 13, 2012 around 1AM from complications due to pneumonia.

He rose to fame in the 1990s as the singer for alternative band Advent Call.

Eventually, he formed the funk rock band P.O.T. which further pushed him into prominence through the songs "Fishcake",  "Panaginip" and their hit remake "Yugyugan Na".

After P.O.T. disbanded, the bad-ass performer moved on to do frontman duties for Kapatid.

Karl was working on new material with his new band based in Laguna, right before his death.
