The whole world may be bumping and grinding to the latest dance hit by Psy, but his reign on the charts in his homeland has been ended by another South Korean "Gentleman".
Cho Yong-pil, a veteran K-Pop artist has taken the top spot from Psy in the daily and weekly charts of Korea's major Internet portal.
The 63-year-old musician's single "Bounce" has, literally bounced Psy off the charts, one week after the release of the album "Hello", his first in ten years.
Cho Yong-pil has been in their local music industry since 1975 and is known for electronic music and ballads.
He is now the talk of the town, receiving praises from younger K-Pop artists Taeyang, G-Dragon, 4minute and even Psy himself! Psy said he had nothing but respect for the legendary singer and couldn't be happier for him.
