Better start the countdown! In just a matter of days, Mr. A-Z himself will find his way back to Manila to play yet another enchanting and unforgettable concert in the big dome! Find out what he has in store for his Filipino fans and hear about what there is to expect this time around!

MYXPH.COM got on the phone with the American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz for a little chat about his upcoming fourth concert to be held on May 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"I love that I have fans there," Jason starts off. "When I come to Manila, fansàthey always come and we always have such a great time! So why would we not want to come back?"

Jason has performed for Manila four times in the past, with the most recent being the one held last October 2012 alongside Toca Rivera.

"That was mental. That was the biggest acoustic show I have ever played!" Jason shares, when asked about the experience. "I mean, I've played for thousands of people with an acoustic guitar, but never eleven thousand, all dancing and having a crazy time! I felt like an esteemed guest at a really awesome party!"

This May, Jason comes back to play songs from his album "Love is a Four Letter Word" in the same venue but with a different companion.

"Toca is not going to be there but there are some amazing people on stage that you are going to fall in love with, people that really bring life and make it possible for all of us to have a great time."

Jason explained that his 2011 concert helped him see what he could expect from the Filipino crowd. It gave him an idea of what is possible in the Philippines and allowed him to figure out what else he could offer the next time he would play.

"Now that I get to come back with my band and rock that same room, it's just going to be like coming home!" Jason said.

Expect passion this 14th of May. "Expect passion, joy, laughter and fun. You can leave your darkness at the door. It's going to be a room filled with light!" said Jason.

As for what he could say about all of his Filipino fans, Jason said:

"Send love and gratitude to my fans because its the whole reason I get the chance to come to the Philippines. My fans keep the songs alive there. My fans make the songs vibrate, ring out and echo across the city of Manila. I am so happy that I get to come and ride those wavesàthose sound waves with my fans. I am so grateful that I have people that hear my song and care to sing along."
