This year's batch of Philpop 2013 interpreters are in!
One month after the announcement of the Philippine Popular Music Festival 2013 finalists
, the talented artists who will give life to the songs are revealed to the public during a press con Wednesday.
They singers and composers have joined forces and are now part of the Philpop 2013 compilation album under Universal Records.
"Ang saya kasi nabuo na 'yung CD," said Philpop MusicFest Foundation's Executive Director Ryan Cayabyab.
"I'm very happy! All the interpreters are on top of their class for the music that they're doing."
The 2012 MYX Magna Awardee just couldn't hide his excitement. He thinks the album will become a hit among Pinoy music lovers because it contains a variety of genres.
"I feel that this might go through the roof. The songs were truly chosen well," added Mr. C.
Furthermore, the "maestro" thanks the #1 music channel in the Philippines in helping out the foundation's goal to uplift OPM .
"Ang advocacy natin ay para sa musikang Pilipino... Importante lang naman dito ay umusad at umunlad ang original Filipino music. Nagpapasalamat kami sa MYX dahil sila ang purveyor ng Filipino music!"
