American alternative / rock band Imagine Dragons was recently in Tokyo, Japan as they performed at the Uppercut Show held at Tower Records Cutup Studio.
MYX Channel Manager Ms. Mila Labendia, together with MCA Music Philippines, flew all the way to Japan to witness the show and hand over the gold record award to Ben McKee, Wayne Sermon, Dan Platzman and Dan Reynolds, collectively known as Imagine Dragons, the band behind the hit songs "It's Time," "Radioactive" and "Demons." It is the first gold record for the band across Asia which just goes to show how the Filipinos love their music!
During a MYXclusive interview with Imagine Dragons, we learned a little trivia about front man Dan Reynolds!
Dan shared to us that two of his brothers used to live here in the Philippines for two years and according to Dan, his brothers taught him the Tagalog phrase, "Bobo ka ba?" and it was only during our interview when he learned the English translation of the phrase!
