Lawson's music video for their latest single "Brokenhearted" has now reached 2 million views on YouTube!
The said music video has been receiving a lot of good reviews because of its storyline. It revolves around a girl who is being haunted by his breakup with the band's vocalist, Andy Brown.
In a recent phone interview with MYXph.com, we got to ask the band about this infectious song!
"It's about coming out from a bad relationship and now you're feeling better. It wasn't about anyone in particular... I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it," said front man Andy, who also wrote the song himself.
They are also considering this song as the turning point for the band. When we asked them why, drummer Adam Pitts had this to say:
"It's the first song we released that's not on our album 'Chapman Square.' We matured a little bit in terms of the sound... It's amazing because we managed to get a new friend in B.o.B who is on the track as well."
On working with B.o.B, Andy shared that the American rapper is such a gentleman and a nice guy. "He's got a lot of success all over the world and he's worked with some of our favorite artists like Taylor Swift."
Adam and Andy also revealed that their favorite B.o.B songs are Nothing On You and Airplanes!
According to them, "Brokenhearted" will be included in the upcoming repackaged edition of "Champan Square" so that means the Fanipinos have something to look forward to!
Speaking of the Fanipinos, Andy and Adam said that they miss the people here in the Philippines especially the Fanipinos!
"It was so nice to meet everyone and we miss you. We also miss everyone at MCA Music!"
For their message to all their fans here in the Philippines, here's what they had to say:
"To all the Fanipinos in the Philippines thank you so much for supporting us. Thank you for seeing us when we came over. We had an amazing time and we had an incredible show. We can't wait to come back and see you soon!"
