After almost two years, Zia Quizon is finally out with her sophomore album.
"A Little Bit Of Lovin'" is the artist's follow-up to her successful self-titled EP which spawned the hits "Dear Lonely" and "Ako Na Lang".
This time, Zia isn't content with giving just a little bit of her type of OPM.
"This album has 10 songs as opposed to 'yung 6-track EP ko last time. So mas madami talagang content. Mas madami talagang effort," said the singer during the album's press launch.
Her second album contains the movie theme song of the comedy film "Bakit Di Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" and the latest single "Pasakalye", two tracks that had humorous lines which her late comedian Dad was famous for. Both songs are composed by "Ako Na Lang" songwriter Jungee Marcelo.
"It feels good especially mas marami siyang mga originals Sana naman mas ma-appreciate ng tao 'yung P300 nila dahil pinag-hirapan namin 'yung originals talaga."
Zia wrote four of eight originals on this one, which also includes her versions of "Seven Nation Army" by American rock duo The White Stripes" and "Masdan Mo Ang Kapaligiran" from legendary Pinoy rock band Asin.
"Kahit 'yung mga covers... we really wanted its own spin, its own take," added our 2012 MYX Music Awards Favorite New Artist.
