If you loved the first of the three movies of The Hobbit Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien, the second film, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug". The prequel of the epic The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy set 60-years before is ready to unfold the story of Bilbo Baggins' adventure with Wizard Gandalf and the thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
They are off to a treacherous journey East filled with perils and challenges along the way û encountering the skin-changer Beorn and a swarm of giant spiders in the Mirkwood Forest. They continue their travel to Laketown, evading the Wood-elves, to Lonely Mountain. There they will face the greatest danger of all û a terrifying creature that will test their courage and friendship û the Dragon Smaug.
Ian McKellen reprises his role as the wizard Gandalf the Grey and Martin Freeman will play the lead, Bilbo Baggins. Other big names include Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, Orlando Bloom as Legolas Greenleaf, James Nesbitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more.
