PERYODIKO Launches "Ayoko Na Ng Drama" Music Video

Pinoy indie rock band Peryodiko recently premiered their music video for their latest single "Ayoko Na Ng Drama".

On a 'drama-less' Sunday night, fans, relatives and friends of the group trooped to the Big Sky Mind in QC to witness the launch.

"The concept was by Malay Javier. He also directed it. We used a bunch of Go Pro cameras and minimal lighting. Sobrang lupit ng crew na nagtrabaho. There were about fourteen takes. It was fun to make!" said vocalist/songwriter Vin Dancel when asked about the music video.

Dancel said he wrote the song out of frustration about a lot of things.

"Gusto ko yung observation ng isang friend ko nung narinig na niya yung kanta, na it's less of naghihimagsik, it's more of surrendering to the fact that a lot of crap has happened and is happening and ayoko na, iba naman. Gusto ko magbago ng sitwasyon," added 'Manong Vin'.

Peryodiko was formed in 2007. The current roster consists of Vin Dancel on vocals and guitars, Josh Villena on lead guitars, Ian Tan on bass, and Pat Sarabia on the drums. Former members include bassist Simon Tan and guitarist Kakoi Legaspi, who both plays for Bamboo now, and drummer Abe Billano.
