This CAPITAL CITIES Member Is Proud Of His Filipino Heritage

Capital Cities definitely amused fans and mall-goers with their music and dancing at their last show held at TriNoma. Aside from the indie-pop duo, people present at their mall show cannot help but get their ears tingled by one of the band members, the trumpeter, Spencer Ludwig.

Many cheered as Spencer Ludwig performed his trumpet solo but what really got the crowd roaring was his Filipino pride. Yes, you read that right! The Capital Cities trumpeter's mother is Filipino. He's half Filipino and proud of it! He shouted to the audience "You make me proud to be Filipino!" many times at their mall show in TriNoma.

Ludwig's trip to the Philippines with Capital Cities gave him the chance to meet relatives based in Manila. The trumpeter also performed with DJ Jason Stiegler at Aracama last Saturday. With the concerts at Ayala malls, side gig at Aracama and meeting his Filipino cousins for the first time, we're guessing this Capital Cities member had the most fun among his bandmates.

Ludwig recently posted on Twitter, "Manila, I promise to come back soon! Thanks for making this trip so incredibly memorable and amazing. I feel at home & I love you all."
